about
The Agricultural Education Department was created with a focus on educating, promoting, and engaging fairgoers on the importance of agriculture in our society, and the impact that it has on our everyday lives. While many of our events and programs across the fairgrounds contribute to this effort, the fair will be adding new opportunities for fairgoers to learn more about agriculture each year.
This year, the Fair has added new demonstrations across our agriculture departments, along with a Scavenger Hunt. While we encourage all who wish to learn more about agriculture to participate in our Scavenger Hunt to earn a small prize, only those in grades K-12 are eligible to enter our daily grand prize drawing. Scavenger Hunts are available across the fairgrounds at several locations and we will also have a booth open that will be dedicated to passing out and collecting scavenger hunts. The booth will be open from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM daily.
We look forward to seeing you at the fair and hope you take advantage of our new programming this year!
